We launch out of Edmonds, and this June, we found a new marine engine service team in Custom Marine Services. It was really easy to contact Travis (in Stanwood) and get an estimate and quickly schedule service so we could get out and get our fishing and crabbing on! Our Yamaha engines are running like champs.

Travis and staff at Custom Marine were very easy to work and communicate with. I took my Bayliner 185 in to check out some engine noise and they were able to help diagnose and get a plan in place to fix. They took it a step further and were able to take care of a couple other issues that were going to start to cause some headache all in the same servicing. I will definitely be bringing my boat back for other work in the future and can confidently recommend others doing the same.

My Yamaha outboard was giving me an alarm when trolling, so I called Travis. He told me what he thought the problem might be, gave me a ballpark and I dropped it off the next day. He called me the following day to tell me it was ready for pickup, emailed me the invoice, (which was very close to the ballpark) and he that he was able to accommodate my schedule by letting me do so on a Saturday. Great communication! Very Friendly! Thank you Travis!

I was referred to Travis at Custom Marine Services by a company that I used for years, who no longer works on Mercruiser engines. From the moment I spoke with Travis, I could tell he was a master technician. He understood exactly what I was looking to have done to my boat. Meeting him at his shop, I was completely impressed by how clean and organized it was! He went over everything that we discussed and said he would let me know what they find once they dig in. It wasn’t a day and he contacted me with the items that would need to be done. Then the work began. His communication throughout was terrific. Thoughtful and thorough, taking the time to explain it so I could understand. They completed the work quickly and I picked it up in under a week, which seemed very quick to me! While there for pickup, he went over all of the work done and again I was impressed with his attention to details. There are no shortcuts taken here! If you’re looking for an honest, reliable and truly great person to work on your boat, then look no further! I will be recommending him to everyone I know without hesitation.

I was at my wit's end trying to find a qualified marine mechanic to re-power my Bayliner 2859. Travis O'Neill was recommended to me. He answered the phone on the first ring and from that moment on he provided outstanding service and got me floating again. He visited my boat at the Port of Edmonds and discussed options with me. We decided to have the exising MerCruiser 7.4L replaced with a new Quicksilver 6.2L engine along with a new transom assembly. Travis hauled the boat to his shop in Stanwood and performed the work there. He did an excellent job. It feels like I have a brand new boat. Travis combines his technical competence with a friendly, can-do attitude to get the job done. I can recommend him without hesitation.
